If your goal is to grow a dedicated, obsessed fan-base - then yes. You can spend hundreds or thousands promoting a song, but if it doesn't sound great, ads won't help. A good mix is the foundation that enables every other dollar you spend on marketing to actually work.

Even if you're a fantastic mixer, it's nearly impossible to stay objective about the music you're making, because you've already spent days, weeks, or months working on it. This will lead to a mix that sounds great to you, but does a poor job connecting to first-time listeners. My job is to be that fresh perspective.

Not at all, and this is why I specifically love working in Psych/Dream Pop. My number 1 priority is preserving that strong feeling in your demo, but also creating vivid, lush, and warm atmospheres and textures for your emotion to live with. But, I can only guarantee preservation of that raw feeling for myself, I cannot vouch for other engineers.

Mastering is the final polish for your music, and it's an important step to get right. A good master will balance the whole track so it sounds amazing everywhere (in your car, through a Hi-Fi setup, nice headphones, phone speakers etc.) and sounds great next to other songs in your genre (for streaming/playlists).

Every client receives clear and constant communication throughout the whole process, and I require us to have a vision alignment meeting at the beginning to make sure we're on the same page. On top of that, I offer unlimited revisions, and I will not stop working until you have a master you LOVE!
